MACRO Metal Foundry

Who we are

Grupo Macro is a Mexican company specialized in integral solutions for railway infrastructure, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, machining, supply and installation capabilities.

We develop turnouts and specialized railway components under the technical criteria set by AREMA and a Quality Management System based on the requirements of AAR M-1003, ensuring control, traceability and reliability in our processes.

From engineering to execution, Grupo Macro combines Mexican industrial capacity with international railway standards.

Coverage: Mexico, the United States and Central America.

Mission

To design in-house and manufacture railway track equipment of the highest quality, operating under strict international standards — ISO, AAR, EN/UIC — with full supply chain capability, from rough machining to final manufacturing.

Vision

To become a global reference in integrated railway solutions: innovation, globally certified standards and full plant capability, leading the future of rail mobility.

Standards, registrations and associations

We design and manufacture to international standards and register our engineering in Mexico and the United States.

AREMA The standard that governs the track

Our #8, #9, #10, #11, #15 and #20 geometries comply with the AREMA Manual for Railway Engineering 2024 and Portfolio of Trackwork Plans, the current standard for railway track in North America.
